Age 15. But his 3:42 was more of a 4:00.2 mile. No matter. How soon do the age level world records get pretty much as fast as a world class time? 17?

I believe these tests have athletes 'run to failure'. Picture may have been taken after crossing threshold.
It's not a combined VO2/LT test, because he'd have to have a mask on to do VO2. So if it's just an LT test, then he doesn't have to go to failure. He has to go well beyond threshold, but failure isn't necessary. LT tests are reasonably tough at the end, but not nearly as bad as VO2 tests.
I don't get it. Nobody knows what the test meant or was testing and we are all getting excited by him running 15:30 pace?
How long can he/did he hold this pace for?
What's the story on Daniel Skandera?

Not one Kenyan on that whole list? Are you sure it's correct?
3:28.81 WJR Ronald Kwemoi (19 year old)
3:33.72 WYR Nicholas Kiptanui Kemboi (16 years old)
both seem to be a glaring omission
Maybe it's the real list, instead of the official list.

3:33 at 16?!
In all the 10+ years after that achievement, Kemboi has not managed to run faster than 3:31.5 (Actually slower than the older Ingebrigtsen brother)
You would think that by the time he's 25, he'd have improved a bit more than 1 1/2 seconds over that mark?
Henrik Ingebrigsten progression:
2014 3:31.46 Monaco (Stade Louis II) 18 JUL

Its for testing his treshold pace, the most important pace for training for everyone in the 1500m an up.

Ok how long can he hold that pace for. Threshold for what? You can't just use words like 'threshold' without any context.

This is common knowledge, of course I can. Treshold pace is basically your half marathon pace.
During training they don't focus on that exact pace, but the level of lactate. Keeping it below 4mmol, meaning its treshold training.
He did.
