Coe College is a 10-month position (imagine 8-weeks in summer OFF). Why aren't more college coaching positions like this? It's a tremendous incentive.

No incentive:
10 month position = not full-time = no benefits

You are incorrect about Coe. It's full-time with benefits. Plus they have advertised for a full-time assistant for the XC coach.
Incorrect. Many D3's are 10 month contracts and pay for 12.

Do we know who's taking over for Zeb Lang at Cornell yet?

Position has been filled. Ex Ivy Leaguer making a return
So William and Mary is losing their assistant coach Mike Henderson as well? Wow two W&M guys jump ship to Cornell...
Is Coe College looking for an assistant coach or a head coach? Their add on the NCAA Web site says head but on their HR site it says assistant? Perhaps im missing something?
It appears Coe College is looking for both Head XC Coach and an Assistant XC Coach (applications for the later due July 15th). This is separate from their full-time Head T&F Coach. HR page is also advertising for new AD so who knows how long the process will take. At any rate, it looks like this school cares about our sports which is good to see.
I do not see the HC XC position on Coe HR site just their assistant XC/ Track position?

Raven had a groin injury. Stop spreading BS that isn't true.
Why don't you read your Track and Field News, Throws Guru? She was SUSPENDED...

Didn't Sara Vergote quit in the middle of the school year last year and posted she just wanted to get out of coaching and enjoy Sunday mornings with her partner and read the paper and have coffee??
I can only imaging the 1000's of applications the OSU distance positions received by Coach Dennis and Khadevis has announced he doesn't want to coach cross country and a woman who posted several blogs she couldn't wait to get out of the "disgusting coaching profession".
Coach Dennis just doesn't want a great coach for $74,000 Brice was making?
Do Robinson and Vergore split Brice's salary?
LSSU head job pays 26,000 and is a 1-person staff (+ 1 part time assistant) .... This is only a little better than a minimum wage job!
I'm embarrassed for them. They should just post the position on Craigslist.😳

I'm sorry but when did khadevis "announce" that he doesn't want to coach Cross Country?
