Sad. He really had the "feel" of a good guy, a good person.
Remember seeing his short lived late night show for a while and enjoying it.
Father of groove thief Robin Thicke...
Atleast that's one Canadian who died doing exactly what he loved.
I will not mess with the IRS in his honor today.
grew up watching Growing Pains. From what is said about him it appears he was one of the truly nice guys. Glad he got to die doing what he loved. Playing Hockey with my son (my son is a hockey player) would be a great way to go.
Alan Thicke was a womanizer and a drug addict for most of his life. He is also a fame hungry douche. I am not saying I am happy he died, but lets tone down all the "Alan Thicke was a great guy bc he played one on tv" crap.
Say something nice! Like, he had great hair.
just going by what Im hearing from people. Most all Hollywood people are DBs

Do you have a lot of friends who knew Mr. Thicke. I did and do and he was a complete douche who used to hit on any young thing he saw at parties.

According the font of all knowledge - Wikipedia - he started dating a 17 year old soon after divorcing his first wife. He was 42 at the time.Using the standard half-your-age-minus-7 rule, nothing wrong here ...no wait ... is that half-your-age-plus-7??? ... this one always confuses me.

Totally agree. Granted age 69 is too early, but having a heart attack while playing a sport that you love with your son would be a really nice way to go out. I had a coworker whose husband died after getting a birdie with a foursome of longtime friends at the 17th hole of Pebble Beach. Not a bad way either. Beats slowly dying of cancer or other protracted debilitating illness.

Would you like to die while posting on Letsrun? Or would that not be desirable?
I only ask to ascertain whether this is an enjoyable activity.

The desirable way to go is while posting your best troll effort of all time, surrounded by your children. This is how Jamin will kick the bucket, but he won't have children, so the only witness to his untimely demise will be his pet ferret.

Ice or field? You need to be more specific.

The necessity you have imposed on me is a creation triggered by your own ineptitude.
Latest news is that he died to avoid a Trump presidency (no joke).
He can't be dead. I just heard him on the radio this afternoon.
