Yep. Very tough young lady. No quit in her. Very talented mentally and physically
Got's to feel bad for Nevada Moreno since she picked Stanford and will get slower in College that was her last chance to ever win a race. Not sure who ruins more talent U$C sprints on the women side or Stanford distance on the Women's side??????/
Cal "Black Hole" Berkeley for sure. Bye bye Brie Oakley.

Come on Cal doesn't ruin nearly as much talent as Stanford does. Stanford got 4 of the top 5 distance recruits in the Country last year and placed what 5th at NCAA's Oregon got 1 of the top 5 distance recruits and won NCAA Cross this year with maybe one tenth of the talent that Stanford had.

The talent that quits that Standord team could win a national championship.
Two National races, two former soccer players taking the cup. Get strong kids.
You have to have student athletes want to attend the school before they call your school a black hole...sans CAL
You sure pingponged him with that one.
How long did Claudia lane play soccer?
Too bad she missed her last chance to match up against Oakley.
How long did Claudia lane play soccer?
4 years counting youth club.
Who coached her in XC and what kind of training did she do to drop her times by 2 minutes from freshman to sophomore year? Really amazing!
She looked incredibly focused the entire race, so I thought her smile of joy at the end was awesome. Congrats to her.

How many runners vying for a national champion are not focused? Are many just letting their minds wander? Thinking of what color to paint their toenails in the morning?
