I'm 5'10 and 155-160 pounds. I'm trying to eat healthier to give my body thr opportunity to shed any excess fat. I'm trying to cut out all junk like the things people bring in to work. Cookies, candy, cake, etc. People at my work can not fathom this. They say things like "you need to gain weight, not lose it." They think I'm like the 90 pound anorexic girl complaining that her thighs are too big. Do you guys have similar experiences?
Jimmy, Jimmy, Jimmy, you didn't give your age but if you're in your 20's/30's, you're a goof. For one thing you need a certain amount of fat to act as a cushion for some internal organs. For a second thing, this is the Holiday/eating season. People work hard to make delectable treats for these few days/weeks. It wouldn't hurt you or anyone else to sample a small amount of whatever is offered/presented to you. You won't gain any weight that you can't run off in a week and by trying a few morsels you'll not offend whoever made whatever. Sometimes we need to think of family/friends before ourselves. I realize it's a somewhat antiquated term, but is called "Being Unselfish."
