If you could choose where to be born, where?

Without bias.

If before you were born, you could which country you were going to be born in, where would you choose? And you would look like a person from that country, for example, if you're white, you wouldn't be born white in Kenya.

You can choose the actual country you were born in if you can provide a good reason why.

I think I would choose Denmark, most likely I'd be blond and over 6', multi-lingual too since they learn English and other Scandinavian languages. Good healthcare, no war, good education, etc.

Anyone willing to drop their patriotism for one second?

I was born in Australia, so am way ahead. Though I live in the US so its a double bonus.

And I am white, so its easier for me. And I am old, so I took advantages that don't exist anymore.

Millenial white males are screwed in the USA. Its been diversity placements for decades. White women are in a good spot. Maybe I'd come back a Lesbian. Just do away with any needed surgery like Caitlin is pining over.

I think I'd still choose Oz. But I'd pay more attention to swimming and cycling than track.

My answer would have been France or Italy a decade ago, but things aren't looking good for western Europe.

I think I would also choose a Nordic region like Iceland, Norway, or Sweden, maybe Greenland. I am happy with my looks, but I would like to unplug and do something more tactile for work. That is very hard to do in the USA right now with kids in private school and a wife who likes to drive a Mercedes SUV and wear designer brands.
