Noah Affolder, he is the most fresh. That's pretty big.

Just to throw in another name: Callum Bolger, a senior from San Luis Obispo HS in California.
4:07 mile
8:51 2-mile at Arcadia last track season
Got a late start training this fall, but won the California D4 state title two weeks ago in one of the fastest times of the day--14:58--winning by 30 seconds. Any sub 15:00 time on the legendary Woodward Park course is impressive, especially with no competition.
No ones mentioning grijalva? The guy obviously cruised his way through FL west based off the race footage and ran the fastest time of the day at state. He will make a run for top 3 at least in my opinion.
Did this for NXN, so why not FL?
Overall, the talent level at FL was not close to NXN on either side this year.
Boys
1.Worley
2. Gessner
3. N.Affolder
4. Hirsch
Worley looked really strong at NXN and can finish extremely well. Gessner took NXN off and should be well rested for this race. Affolder is a stud but I don't see him making a huge jump from last year, he might be one of those guys who underperforms at nationals. Hirsch is extremely consistent but doesn't have the speed of the other guys.
Girls
1. Lane
2. Mareno
???
Is it just me or is the strength of the girls field much, much weaker than that of NXN? I didn't recognize like any of the qualifiers names. Oh well. Lane crushed the field and Mareno is the top returnee after getting 3rd last year.

Lius Grijalva is going to crush the field.
Keep an eye out for Claudia Lane and Seth Hirsch.
We hope you've read our race previews. Our girls preview, where we've picked Claudia Lane as the winner, is here:
Our boys preview, where we haven't made a pick yet (we'll make one before the race - we can't decide) is here:

With the gradual decline of newspapers, it's been hard to find good outside article on the race but I enjoyed this article by USA Today.

It's got some interesting facts in it. The son of Cathy Schiro O’Brien - the only girls Foot Locker champ to make the Olympics - is in the race. Plus a boy who was living in Benghazi as late as 2012.

Claudia has a kick wow! Props to her.
coverage of this race us much better than NXN. the girls are not crying and screaming on the ground at the end.
Brojos, thanks for posting the live race on the site. Great idea! This sure beats looking for streams, or just not watching at all.

Your welcome.
THanks for taking the time to thank us. That was a fun women's race. Lane broke it open early, got caught, found another gear and rallied for the win.
I gues it's now time to make men's predictions.
Jonathan Gault is saying Worley. I'm going with Affolder.
looks like the first time verzbicas has run in years
What are we suppose to do with our hands?
Affolders got this.
Which one? I'm calling a crazy upset, the younger one will outplace his brother and win it all
Aho
Did I hear someone will be attending Wake Forest? Safe to say we'll never hear from him again.
