I'm a high school senior training on my own and was wondering how realistic it was to run sub-10 minutes in the 3200m during march or april. I ran 17:05 during cross country season on a legitimate course with a few 17:20-17:30 races. I began running last year so I'm not overly experienced but am training on my own and need to set realistic goals. I am entering base training right now and plan on peaking at 80mpw, all steady miles during base with no speedwork until Mid-January. Suggestions? Shoot me an email at Hope4Nuba@gmail.com
