I'm not sure how I'm supposed to pronounce this spelling.

BIGLY.
I pronounce it Big Joke. I don't even care that the Big "Ten" no longer has ten teams, the real mistake was letting those East Coast schools in. It's supposed to be the Midwest's conference.
I didn't even realize it stood for the Big 10? How do you get Big 10 out of B1G? Are you just supposed to know what it is?
^That is the logo. It is both IG and 10 at the same time.
They say to write B1G, instead of BIG, B10, or BIO, so you kind of have to know.

Thank You Sara.
This may be a stupid question.
I understood the logo with the 11 hiding in there when there were 11 teams.
What the hell does 1G mean?
I really don't get it wrote:

I have never cared for the current Big Ten graphic identity. It feels somewhat contrived. An attempt to be visually clever, that falls short.
By way of comparison, the PAC 12 logo mark presents itself very well.

I think I'll just pronounce it with the "1" sounding like "one," which would sound something like "Bwong."

Exactly my thought, Figured it was some a Thug Rapper name.
It's unpronounceable, so you're supposed to say "The Conference formerly known as The Big Ten".
The G kinda looks like a 0.
Pretty sure you aren't supposed to try to literally pronounce it. It's just a logo or shorthand way of writing out Big Ten Conference.
Imagine that you are following a recipe, and see the term "tsp". You don't try to phonetically pronounce it as "tisp" or something. Neither do you spell it out as "t-s-p". Rather your brain, if you've got a halfway decent one, automatically reads "tsp" as "teaspoon" but with less text needed on your recipe card.
That's how it works for people with brains.
Though it is written "B1G," it is pronounced "shah-day."
I say it "BEE ONE GEE".

I'm in the Big 10/B1G region. The logo is dumb.
Pronounced "Bowl 1osses Galore"
