Daughter is a senior and ranked in the top 5 in our state in 2 events.
I'm debating if actually being able to see her rank is worth the $48 or whatever it is.
Am I'm being too cheap? Any other good reasons to subscribe?

I subscribed today. I'm usually in the xc articles so I just wanted to see what they say. I definitely would. Having a subscription also lets yout watch races

That is narcissistic as f**k. Go ahead and spend 48$ to see in writing what you already know.
I'm a high school senior and have a subscription. It's definitely worth it for me. I can see race videos and photos. I also am able to look at how've my competitors did in a bunch of recent meets instead of only being able to see their PRs on their profile. And the rankings are helpful for someone like me who wants to know a cut-off relay time for state, i.e. I can go in and see what the X number relay ran since my state accepts X number of entries.

Wow, that is harsh. Possibly true, but harsh!
How does milesplit get away with charging money for this? TFRRS shows collegiate meet results and rankings for free.
I don't think I would. Athletic.net shows rankings for free. It shows meets, teams, individuals, etc. I would look at that and see if you get what you want from that first. If that's not enough or you were looking for something more, then I might try out milesplit.

Not harsh at all it's true. He knows where his daughter ranks yet he wants to see it in print.
By the way dad she should concentrate on how she finishes in the state championships or national championships not what her PR's are. Can she perform when the pressure is on that's the question.
You're a proud parent. I think it's great.

Ignore these people. That's not what your question was. Seeing it in print is always fun even if you do know her pr's already. That's awesome of you to be so supportive of her. My dad asks how races go but that's about it. He's proud of course but he has never actually gone out of his way to support me like you are to your daughter so don't worry about what they are saying, they're full of crap. I already told you about athletic.net in a previous answer by the way. Look at that if you want to read the whole thing.
