I see 8 wins to 9.2nd round playoffs.
I see 8 wins to 9.2nd round playoffs.
I didn't believe anyone was stupid enough to believe stuff like this until I lived in the south.
0-16
0-18. They are a (hypothetical) 28-point underdog to Cleveland.

More like 9 - 10 wins but 2nd round is probably right.
0-16
It is almost akin to a very good high school team playing a college team. Think about that. How do you think a top-level high school team would do against a Division 1 college team? It would not even be a game.

They would make the Browns look like an All Star team. End of 1st half would be 21 Browns – 0 Bama. In the second half it would get really ugly for Bama.

I take it back. 0-5. Because Alabama couldn't finish an NFL season with the number of injuries they'd experience. Offensive line would be dominated & Alabama would go through QBs in no time.
It really is boys vs men.
To the clueless college football fans:
You do realize that very few college QB's ever make it in the NFL. Last I checked, the NFL is QB driven league. Let's look at Alabama's QB, Jalen Hurts- a freshman, no less. His last name Hurts is exactly what is going to happen to him, he wouldn't know what hit him. The NFL's defenses are much more complex, a dizzying array of formations, the kid would be lucky to complete 4 or 5 passes in a game. Hurt would be sacked, hurried, and blitzed on every down. An average starter on the worst NFL team is vastly better than the average 1st team college All-American (and how many of these All-Americans are busts in the NFL? Plenty)
Alabama finishes 0-16. Maybe, just maybe they win 1 preseason game when their opponent either all their starters and even then, I doubt that.
Alabama would stack up in the NFL about the same as I would against Galen Rupp.
Sits all their starters....
I agree that Alabama would get slammed if they played any NFL team. But, what you are saying about Hurts is what many people could have been saying about Dak Prescott. Who would have thought he would do as well as he has done. Everyone thought he woudl have been sacked, hurried and blitzed but he has survived all that and flourished. So really it all depends on the player but most collegiate players will struggle in the NFL.
Don't be a idiot. No comparison. Hurts is an 18 yr old freshman with one year of College football. Prescott is 23 yrs old.

Next time you insult someone's intelligence you might want to proofread.

Okay, but you need to be more specific. There's like a 0.0000000002 percent chance you're Eliud Kipchoge and claiming a Crimson Tide Super Bowl win.

I stand on what I said. The Hurts/Prescott comparison is idiotic.
Little Nicky Sabin was 15-17 as HC of the Dolphins in the '05 and '06 seasons. Couldn't make it at that level. Why does anyone believe he would do better with a bunch of 18-23 yo kids?
They would struggle to win CFL games, as others have pointed out, its men against boys, and the pro's don't have the silly academic eligibility rules that colleges deal with. The pros can concentrate the talent over years (they don't need to let productive players go every four years) and can evaluate and move talent easily.
I think they may be able to win a CFL game or two because there coaching and raw talent level is so strong but against NFL talent there would absolutely no chance whatsoever.
