I ran a 5k this morning with nearly 1800 other runners. I'm not trying to set a world record or anything, and I love kids (and the fact they are entered in the race is great for the sport), but I have to say that 15 small children sprinting for 75 yards and then nearly stopping (with me running into the back of them) and then having to "pinball" across the course to dodge them is ridiculous. I did end up literally making physical contact with 2 kids. No one was hurt but it could easily happen to either the kid or the adult.
How can this be fixed? I know it has to be a big problem for many. If you are a parent of a kid who does this, please correct it.
