Had my last workout yesterday before a planned 10 day break. Typical session, nothing crazy.
2mile warmup, drills, 4 strides. Then 4x1mile tempo off 60 seconds. Followed by 4x200 at mile pace off of 200 jog. Walked for a couple of minutes then started a 1mile cooldown jog.
Half way through the jog, I had a quick sharp pain in my right middle calf. No pop or anything and it instantly went away. I walked for a minute just because it surprised me. I jogged a bit more with no sign of the pain and lightly stretched afterword. Jogged a couple minutes more and legs felt great.
No pain or tenderness at all walking today. Toe raises feel fine.
Am I ok or do I have a low grade strain or something? Probably hit the 200s too fast knowing I wasn't running for a bit.
