That was a strange letter the times wrote. It began by saying that after reflecting on their election coverage that they were going to recommit themselves to reporting honestly going forward. But by the end of the letter they were claiming that their election coverage was not biased. So either they were lying about lying or they were lying about being unbiased. Despite their commitment to trying to be honest, they couldn't even get through their letter without lying.
