I want to get spikes for my first varsity outdoor track season. I do the long jump, the 110 hurdles, the 400 hurdles, and occasionally the high jump.
I only want to buy one pair of spikes, so should I get sprinting spikes or long jump spikes?
Also, what can I use for the high jump? are trainers ok? will my lj/sprint spikes work? i ran xc this fall and have the saucony carreras, if those would work for any event.
