Lehigh Valley Marathon, methinks.

Way to go Milesplit. Put info about a high school kid on blast on a national website. I'd be inclined to file a suit for defamation if I was him.
I wish someone would name the sonofabitch. Who exactly are we talking about? Does he have a name?
How could a defamation suit hold up if he is an actual bandit?
read the article.. and people posted links... have you looked at anything except the OP's post???

Is the bandit Terry Varicelli, or not?
Why should he be treated with kid gloves when Mike Rossi was not?
Please explain. I will take your answer off the air.

The article literally says it is like 6 times..

After the 2016 Manhattan Invite in October, a fellow runner reported Terry Varicelli of Union City had snuck into the boys eastern championship race after noticing discrepancies in the MileSplit photo albums.

Great work by that fellow runner!

I was in this race and, even though I was towards the back of the pack, can guarantee he was nowhere to be seen the first half of the race. Totally disrespectful to the sport.

I went to running camp with this kid last year. His name was Terry Varicelli. Probably the most stuck up kids I've ever met. He lied about everything. I'm also friends with some girls he used to be friends with and they said that most of what comes out of his mouth isn't true. The last time he tried to cheat I tagged the guy that caught him on his Instagram post talking about how he's being recruited and Terry blocked me on Instagram(Jon Dooling, cba grad caught him, I also went to camp with Jon). My school also hosts a very big twilight meet and Terry happened to be there, lo and behold he lied about his seed time and got put into the seeded race (all the studs in the state run in this heat) and he dropped out at the 800 because he was too tired. He then posted on Instagram that he ran a certain time when indeed he dropped out.

Also someone needs to have him read this thread or read it to him because he seriously has to have something wrong with him. Terry do you think you can break 2:06 lol hey terry a middle schooler is 10+ seconds faster than your dream time and many more are faster than your 19 minute 5k.
In his defense, he does put out a slick you tube video. I was so pumped I went out and did the same speed workout myself. Stay an outlaw Terry V.. Stay an outlaw!
By the way, where the heck is that track with all the mobile homes around it?

So without that, there's not much of a case. Freedom of the press, and all.
On here it refers to class if 2011?
This whole thing is very odd. Vericelly vs. Vericelli. Memorial High School (West New York, NJ) Class of 2011 and Union City High School Class of 2017. These schools are about two miles apart. He is wearing a "Memorial" singlet in one of his videos. Is he actually on the Union City team? There is no way a coach did not kick him off after the first DQ.
Also, if you look at the time lapse photos of the Manhattan Invite in the milesplit article, it looks like a race official grabs for him as he crosses the line.

does it seem like each one of the parts of this workout is only about 50m long?

I know this kid. He left memorial HS in 2013 after a dispute with the coach and captain. He then ran for a club team and transferred to Union City. He's a senior now. I have no clue why it says 2011. Did anyone check the Milesplit Season bests of 2011?
This kid went to the same cross country camp as me. From what I hear from coaches and his teammates he left his team even before Manhattan, so I guess he's been on his own this whole time

Yeah. Ethics aside, you're letting someone stay on your team who is likely to commit fouls that will impact your whole team. How would you like to have a great day as a team, win some race that you thought you didn't have a shot to win, and then end up getting DQed due to this moron's antics?
Look up his Facebook. He claims he's sponsored by USATF (thanked them for a uniform he bought). He is absolutely insane, the reasons why can only be guessed.
My sleuthing associates led me to this video. He's number 11. Watch as he drops out of lap three and joins back again the last 50 meters to run a 2:07
