Hello everyone being training for 3 years , i am 17yrs , i do 4 track sessions 1 tempo session and 1 one long run session , the workout goes down as follows
monday am- 50 mins easy
2 mile warump
evening - 600x4 1:35 rest 3 minutes per rep
1 mile cool down
tuesday - 60 mins easy
evening 1 mile warmup 4 mile tempo session , pace 6:55 per mile
1 mile cooldown
wednesday- 50 min easy
evening - 1 mile warmup 300X8 42-46 pace rest 2 minutes per rep
1 mile cool down plus core
thursday - 60 mins easy
evening - weights session
friday - 50 mins easy
evening - 20 mins easy followed by 200x10 with jog back rest average pace 28 for 200
saturday morning rest
evening - 1 mile warmup ,4x1000 2:53 pace 3 mins rest per rep
followed by 1 mile cool down and core session
sunday - 12 mile run
somehow i am not able to break the 2:05 barrier for 800 i would like your views, opinions and advice. Thank you
