A little more info. The world record is 79:44:26, by Fast Guy, as recorded here: http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?board=1&thread=4477144&id=4483717#4483717My A goal is 78 hours. 100 hours would be a "fun run". Any completion is a success. Non-completion is failure.I'm drinking Coors Banquet. Here's a picture of it at the store: http://imgur.com/a/qLC2XThey said there's 4 commemorative cans but all of the 3 cases I've opened have had the same cans in em.There are only 96 beers there; the other 4 will be random cans/bottles that I happen to have in my fridge. A tiny bit of variety, every 25th beer. Here is the Strava of my first run: https://www.strava.com/activities/783975833I'll try to provide a link to each run I do.If anyone wants to run/drink with me, I, like Robert Young before me, invite you to show up. Email me at the address provided on my username. I'm in Portland, OR.Speaking of usernames, the name I chose for this is very similar to a name I've used before, LetsRace.com. Here are links to the two times I used it:http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?thread=5387968http://www.letsrun.com/forum/flat_read.php?thread=5541967At the first race of those I came out ahead, by a little; at the second, I came in second out of three. I therefore consider myself The Average LetsRunner. And now you kinda know me.
My eating plan is to get nutrients. Minimal food, obviously--one beer is 147 calories, so 100 in 78 hours is 4523 calories per day--but I generally eat a lot, so I should have room for a few key small meals to get some protein and maybe a few vegetables.
The throwing-up rule is currently "don't throw up". If I do, I guess the plan would be to replace all that was lost. Hopefully I don't have to make any judgment calls on that.
How long did un:lasseviren take to complete the bicentennial? "Fast Guy" took 79:44:26. I hope to beat that.
