Only one way to find out.
Not at all. You can stop one with your hand and maybe just get a bit of a thump. It's about like stopping one of those little fans that have no cover on them.
It will easily chop right through a finger. Femur bone might stop it though.
If this is a serious question, I honestly suggest that you scrap the idea entirely. A work shop is incredibly dangerous to the uninformed.
They're built to guickly and cleanly cut through oak boards so do you think human flesh will even slow them down? Obvious troll. There is a saw designed to stop instantly on contact with flesh. Saw a YouTube video where they tested it with a hot dog. Appeared to work well. Can't remember the name of the saw.

Had you taken shop class in high school you would have known this by looking at your instructor.
Don't give the OP any ideas.

The usual abbreviation when insulting a certain WIAC school and it's alumni is Lax, not Lac

Lol at your "badass" comment!
My cousin is missing a thumb from cutting siding on a left handed table saw.. he is right handed and forgot to tuck it in..
Be careful, if you set the blade too low, you might only cut your finger halfway off.
I have a huge scar on my thumb from middle school shop class (some 25 years ago). If I hadn't had insane pain reflexes it would have been cut clear off. Honestly though, you have to be really dumb to let that happen. Speaking from experience. You'll most likely be fine.

Yeah, bet he is one of those guys that never refills his blinker fluid too.
The tile saw is the one you can touch with your finger even though it looks completely bad ass.

What is this, a Pulp Fiction sort of hypothetical question?
WTF, man?
Use the woodchipper to get rid of any human bones. Burn the remains.
Try watching Season 1 of Dexter to learn more about a kill room.
You are an amateur.
Most table saws have DNA sensors. If they sense human DNA approaching the blade, they will automatically shut off. So you wouldn't even be able to if you wanted to.
My 7th grade shop teacher was missing part of several fingers because of a mishap with a table saw. You want to by fully sober and damn careful when using one.
Is wood/metal shop still offered nowadays? Or have the schools completely given up on training students to be useful adults?
