These great runners I noticed, pull not push.
Am I right on this?
No one there has form that sticks out as "Wow this form is so great I'll start a thread on it"
I don't even know which kid you're talking about, and I watched the whole video
Wow, you are really something.

He's right.
Agree with you. Principe is textbook. But I think the flat course suits his stride. Do you have any videos of him on a hilly course? No ribbing intended - I teach my kids the same stride and we are getting mixed results on hills b/c the stride is a bit elaborate/slow.
I would be interested to hear your thoughts of Principe's stride vis-a-vis McGorty's on undulating courses.
I agree he looks more like a track guy. I see a young version of Ryun or Jager there, just loping along smoothly. 4:07 and 8:51 so far, so well-balanced there.
I can't comment on Brandon McGorty, haven't seen him run cross.

Here is a vid of him running the New England Champs last year at Thetford Academy. Sadly you need pro to watch it. It is an very hilly course and he ran an incredible time. I can't comment on how he looked during it because I was racing far behind him.

Got to be honest I didn't think his form was that great. I mean its way above average but for someone running that fast it didn't seem out of this world smooth.
Not even trolling just serious observation.
It's not just being smooth, it's a hidden strength, like an untapped potential. Hints at a great upside. "N'cest quoi" kind of sums it up.

Not bad. His arm carriage can use some work.
Half these posts are from the kid's dad.

I was thinking the same thing. Good runner but who gives a flying fvck about his form, lol?
People who focus on form are never fast.

I wouldn't say that. However, this is excessive to have a thread on every kid with above average form. It's not that incredible.
I wonder if he'll have that confidence against a national field. He goes out so hard and maintains. Stud for sure. Great stride, per the OP, slight flaw in his right leg, but he's a blue-chip with tons of potential. He is going to get stronger as well.
Yet his name hasn't even been mentioned, lol.

Get out of here, dad.
If he didn't go out in 62 at 400 maybe he would have run 20 seconds faster. High school kids gotta learn how to pace themselves.
