So who thinks Jorgensen is either going to DNF or bonk massively the last 20K?
16 mile longest run, only 50 miles a week.

I bet you were that dumbf*ck who thought she'd only run 57 in the 10 miler.
She destroys everyone in races that last two hours. I think she has what it takes to go another 30 minutes without unraveling.
He she mentioned her expected opening pace anywhere? You'd think she be more open about than those looking to contend.
She doesn't look ready in that WOW 12km progression. I am thinking 2:40.
Is she starting with the elites? I fear she will get sucked out at a faster than ideal pace. I think 2:4x is very possible for her with a smart race.
She would be the second American to cross the line after Huddle.
Not specific training.
16 miler and 50 a week
She blew it last week.
mid-high 2:30s, but good chance of a blow up without those miles.
I wish I could "blow it" by snagging $60K and appearance money at NYCM, as well as solidifying dominance in tri + getting major attention as a runner (more $$$ down the line)... all in nine days!

She raced 3 triathlons last weekend and she isn't getting to New York until Saturday. On her Instagram she is already saying it's a fun run . I say she goes out 2:37 pace and runs 2:50
and she did some bike races two weekends ago

That sounds about right to me. Lack of 20 mile training runs will come into play late. I say 2:45. Still, what a stud athlete. And if you've seen her interviewed or read about her, she is apparently a total class act.
that's what I thought. I say she gets 2nd place US runner now. 2:30s.

Yes. I remember when Grete Waitz thought she could jump into New York never having run over 12. We saw how that worked out for her.
She is a racer. Jorgensen will go sub 28.
No way she gets it right in her first marathon on this course, particularly given lack of miles, specificity, and a proper taper. I say 1:18/1:27 = 2:45.

No way. She's not going to fall apart like that.
Smart athlete. I say she goes out at 2:36 pace and fades to 2:37-2:38. 1-2:00 positive split. Exceptional debut.
I'm confident she will run a great race. She is an amazing athlete. I think she can run in about 2:35, if everything goes well.
