So I'm a 400/800m type of runner and last year as a sophomore I didn't train as hard as I should have. That being said, here are my PR's as a sophomore:
200m: 23.9
400m: 53.7
800m: 2:07
1600m: 5:09
I go to a fairly small school and the school record for the 800m is just under 1:55, so I'd like to attempt to break that.
I got some big PR's during this last cross country season(current PB is 17:35) and I feel that I'm in much better shape than last year. I plan on doing some really good base building for track this year(I have an older sister who is a big track star at the college in my town and I plan on training with her) and then hitting it hard in the season. What are the chances of me going sub 2:00 as a junior this year? I'd like to be sub 2:00 so that I'm not too far away from 1:55 heading into senior year.
