Texas high school regionals are at Mae Simmons Park in Lubbock. Nobody ever ran the course and posted to Strava- therefore, I'm on here asking about the course- hills, footing, surface, etc.
Please share your wisdom. Thanks.

I heard there is a hill but haven't run there myself. A little altitude also, if that matters.
Starts on a wide football/soccer pitch. A few hundred meters in there is a sharp uphill and a tight turn -- you need to be near the front. The next few hundred meters are flat but rocky. It's also a place where spectators congregate so it really accommodates only two or three abreast. Then a steep flowing downhill onto a wooden footbridge that is only about 3 meters wide. This is maybe a half mile in. The next two miles are a big loop with a hill up to a flat section that you run twice. The first time back by the bridge you run right past it perpendicular to it. The second time you swerve onto the bridge, come off of it to the right, and hammer a long flat wide 100-150 meters to the finish. so maybe three times steep uphill followed by a sweeping downhill. If you're a contender get up front quickly. The last half mile has easy terrain -- just come off the bridge ready to sprint.
