Like posted, sorry if this has been asked before but i couldn't find any thing specific to my question, but how fast can someone get by running one tempo about 4 to 6 miles and doing about 5 to 6 strides on easy running days? Running schedule would look like Monday: 4 to 5 mile recovery or easy pace depending on first mile. Wednesday: 5 mile easy with strides. Thursday: 6 mile easy with strides. Friday: 6 miles 4 to 5 of them tempo pace. Saturday: 4 miles recovery. Sunday morning: 12 mile long run at easy pace. Sunday evening: 3 to 4 recovery. I haven't done any 400m to 1600m repeats in a while. Was wondering if I can still improve with this or if this is still way too light. I don't have the time to add any additional miles per week for the next 6 weeks. Thanks.
