I will be working 3-4 days a week at a local sandwich shop. How much will this affect my running? Will I be a lot more tired, or will it help by keeping my muscles somewhat for a longer period of time and therefore more ready to run?

When I was teaching I was on my feet most of the day. It was my best period of running. (Although like all teachers I was only working 2 hrs a day...). Now as a cubicle worker I sit all day and run slower.
I work mostly on my feet 8 hours a day, although some days I will get to sit more than others depending on if people show up (work as a PT). I definitely notice my legs are more tired when I'm on my feet most of the day vs when I get breaks to sit. Best thing you can do is wear good shoes, sit during your breaks if you have them and do a little stretching. It also depends on when you are planning on running. If you are going right after work, your legs will prob be more tired than if you go before.
Thanks, yeah I days that I work I will always run in the morning either at 6:00 or 9:30 depending on the day of the week.
