so i tried out barefoot running for the first time this weekend on a trail nearby my house, but i had to stop after about 8 miles because my feet were bleeding so badly. it didnt hurt too much at the beginning but i had to keep stopping because rocks, pine needles, etc., kept getting stuck in my feet. I eventually had to stop for good because I stepped on a thorn causing the bottom of my foot to bleed pretty badly.
anyway i guess my question is does this ever go away? there seems to be a lot of pros to running barefoot and i really like the idea of it so any help would be appreciated
