I don't follow enough of the national teams to make any valid prediction... but barring a miracle, the NY boys won't have a team in the top 15. This is the worst year for NY boys teams in decades.

True. What states are having great years?

Case in point: F-M's boys just got pounded by Liverpool at their sectional meet. Liverpool has lost to at least half a dozen other NY teams this season.
Wayzata is definitely in the top 7. Comparing them to St. Xavier, it's close except Wayzata's 5 is 20-30 seconds better than their 5. There's a big gap between the top 5 and the other teams though. This is what I think.
1. American Fork (UT)
2. The Woodlands (TX)
3. Great Oak (CA)
4. Brentwood (TN)
5. Nequa Valley (IL)
6. Wayzata (MN)
7. Bozeman (MT)

Was Woodbridge 4 months before Nationals?
wow thought cba was supposed to be top 4. overhyped?
Thanks to the guy that reminded me about them. Christian Brothers isn't over hyped. Look at the results for the Shore Conference Championships they were in. 9 second 1-5 split. 15:25 average for 5k. My list is
1. American Fork (UT)
2. Christian Brothers Academy (NJ)
3. The Woodlands (TX)
4. Brentwood (TN)
5. Great Oak (CA)
6. Nequa Valley (IL)
7. Wayzata (MN)
Why exactly is American Fork #1? After looking at their results I don't see anything that impressive with their team and could see a lot of other teams beating them? CBA had a 15:20 5k average for their top 5 and American Fork has 2 guys barely sub 16 in the 3 mile as prs. Can someone explain this to me?
So Vista a non team was peaking for Woodbridge?

IDK what happened but they lost the state championship. Palmer ridge was way ahead. The small schools(17:07 avg) were closer to vista(16:5x) than vista was to palmer ridge(16:30)
American Fork has an incredible 1-3 that could all be top 5. That should be enough to make up for their back 2. If you look at last year they went from 4th at NXNSW to 2nd at NXN largely because the field is small enough to let a great top 3 carry a weaker 4/5.
Just a reminder majority of Palmer Ridge race are at 6000 ft plus and there school is at 7300ft!
