Now it rains all the time and it's windy as hell. Did I mention it gets dark at 3 PM? This is what I have to wake up to every day
I want to take my running to a higher level. For this to happen I need to increase mileage. Currently I run 25 mpw.
5K PR: 16:58
10K PR: 35:26
My goal is to increase mileage to 40-50 mpw. I've a dozen of training programs but no program seems to suit me. My goal is to run sub 34:30 10K and sub 2:42 marathon in June 2017.
I need your help to structure a base program. I'm not even sure if I should devote 8-10 weeks to base or if I should continue to train as I normally do and just make my easy runs/long runs longer?
All of this is making me depressed.
