The job there is for the Director of Operations job. That's an administrative job.
You plan the travel, recruiting trips, home meets, timing. If you are a coach and have that, your job is so much easier as all you have to do is a) coach and b) make recruiting calls.
The administrative stuff - booking hotels, buses, planes, filling out NCAA compliance forms, setting up all of the heats for our home meets, getting officials etc. - took up A TON of time for me when I was coaching and I only did a tiny portion of it (particularly the meet management stuff).
