Anyone fancy a stab? Predict my 5k and mile from the following two workouts:
This week:
2 sets of 6x400m; 60sec recoveries between reps in first set, reducing recovery in second set 60sec, 50sec, 40sec, 30sec, 20sec
Reps: (81, 81, 81, 80, 81, 80) (79, 79, 78, 77, 77, 73)
Felt really good; first set easy, second set obviously got harder with reducing recovered, but felt like I had a lot more in the tank.
Last week:
5 sets of 600m/400m; 60sec between the 600's and 400's, 3mins walk between the sets
Reps: (1:56/71, 1:56/75, 1:55/75, 1:57/75, 1:59/74)
Felt a little flat, but possibly because I ran in the morning as well (unused to doubles on workout days). Feel like I ran the first set too quickly
Limited information I know; but anyone care to take a stab at a 5k or mile prediction?
