Regional rankings came out Monday as per usual and the Northeast region stayed pretty much the same with no major surprises. One team that was missing (arguably) was Northeastern University after winning the NEICAAA Championships. As most of us know, these rankings are pretty arbitrary and hold no real meaning outside of a little confidence boost for those guys on top. (Plus an inside look at each region if you are not in the loop). Looking back at the rankings (and the point of this thread) I saw that Northeastern was retroactively placed at 9th today. Through the grape vine I heard that the Head Coach called up the higher powers at be and went off on them that about "her" team not getting their place on the rankings. Though they probably should of been on the rankings, does anyone think it was really necessary to go to such lengths to get a meaningless ranking? I have heard some not so great things about the Head Coach in the past.... Is this behavior a commonality with her or an outlier? Seems like the program has done pretty decent as of recent. Does anyone else have any insight on the program?
