Should someone run quality less miles and slowly build or should they slow down and run more.
Example: Is it better if someone does 5 miles @ 7:30 pace or 3.75 miles @ 6:45-50 pace? Assuming thats their level right now, would you recommend the faster quality miles and work on adding distance slowly or the other way? Out of 2 people who do the exact same interval and tempo workouts every week, but on their easy days the one does 5 miles easy and the other 3.75 miles quality, who performs better in a 5k?
