I am a high school runner and I'm wondering if using vaporized/edible forms of marijuana during the offseason will have an effect on my performance in distance events

Nope, it'll just slightly stunt your still-developing brain.

Seen a kid go from 9:10 as a junior to not breaking 10 senior year because of the stuff. Just became unmotivated and lost his drive. He's now 210 lbs, overweight and dropped out of Junior College.
Another kid sub 2 in the 800 couldn't crack 2:10. Asthma was bad and he quit. He went on to do a couple marathons, graduate college and is doing well.
We have too many fat, lazy, unmotivated people with the munchies. Don't do it.

Maybe he gained new personal insight once he started smoking and realized there is more to life than running hard for 9 minutes. 210 is a good weight for a MAN. Dropping out of juco is a good move since it's basically 13th grade and there's no reason to waste time taking remedial classes with no future prospects.
Dude no.

I am also interested in learning how cbd affects the brain and mind and can it improve my memory?
Crap! Old thread. My bad.
Hi buddy, if you need a clear mind, I don't recommend using cbd products for that, because it has a relaxing effect and it's unlikely to help you focus on your studies. As for me, I apply cbd cream after workouts if I have injuries or sprains and it saves me from pain. Actually, I recently bought a cbd vape pen, but I only use it after work to rest and relax, because it acts like a sedative on me. It really helps me get rid of fatigue and anxious thoughts, but if I vape during the working day it will interfere with my productivity. If you want to read more about it, then here's a review.. https://knockoutcbd.com/cbd-product-category/cbd-vape-pen/
