I saw a thread earlier today about stride length and cadence, and I was curious as to what turnover letsrunners have. Just state your PRs and cadence.

Just ran my first race in 12 years this weekend.
10k-38:47
186 during the race, most training runs are mid to high 170s
If you're slower than 13:30 this is something you definitely don't need to be spending your time worrying about

Blanket statements like that are silly. Agree that for most it's not a big deal at all, but some people are out there practically bounding their way to a 18:00 5k.
Prs: 14:34 5k, 30:20 10k
According to my gps watch I'm usually around 175 for easy runs and 190 for harder efforts.
1600 3:59
3200 8:37
5k xc 23:46
What's the frequency, Kenneth?
Mile - 4:39
5000 - 15:54
XC 8000 26:06
Average Cadence : 172-4

Fenix 3 tells me 184 on my tempo yesterday, so I'd assume I'm right in line with you. Also near identical PRs. 5'8, usual leg length, etc.
50% slower than any of the responses so far, so I'll withhold my PRs.
Cadence 175 on easy runs, 190+ if I go harder.
Clearly stride length/flight time is the key here. I need to figure out how to improve mine.
