Hello, I'm a senior in HS and the way that the schedule works out, there are 3 meets within a 1 week span. I already raced on Saturday, and I ran sub par, pretty far away from my last season PR. Today, I raced and ran very far from my PR, almost a minute away. I have another race on Thursday and if I don't race that one which our coach is letting us do, the next race would be the most important one of the season. I haven't PRd yet, which is really frustrating me. Considering that I ran 2 sub par races which I think are not showing what shape I am really in, could I race Thursday? My very important race after that is not for more than a week after the one on Thursday, so I would have plenty of time to rest. I would really like to have a faster time going into the next couple of weeks. Should I race? Thanks for reading.
