I go out in a pace I should be able to maintain based on training and previous PRs, I'm in good shape and it makes sense.
When I a little past half way (lets say 1.7-2) I start hyperventilating or something. It doesn't seem natural. I never finish strong after it, I have to take it down a notch.
After the race I'm always dizzy and way way too weak for this to be normal. I know a "balls to the walls, digging deep, all you got race", and I don't think this is it.
It's really weird, I'm not panicing or anything, and I don't think I went out crazy hard and hit my V02 max or something.
I take albuertal (inhaler) for asthma, and also ADD meditation. Both prescribed. Could one of these be causing this?
Last Spring I ran some fast 800/1600m races and did not have this problem.
