The week after state last year, our HS xc team did a root beer mile (same concept as a beer mile) for fun. There were only 3 finishers, and a ton of puke on our track. Nonetheless, we had a lot of fun and want to make it an annual thing. Some guys this year want to make it a milk mile, doing 12 oz of chocolate milk per lap instead of root beer.
How would milk during a mile make you feel compared to root beer? and how fast do you think a 16:00 5k/4:30 miler could complete a chocolate milk mile? any other thoughts or suggestions? the team is split between the two ideas, so which one should we do?
