I've mostly run in minimalist shoes for some time now, Kinvara/PureFlow/Launch, and need to buy some new shoes as my current pair feels spent. Do the Hoka's give same benefit?
I know the heel to toe drop is the same, 4mm, but obviously the Hoka's have way more cushioning. I've been of the mindset that the less cushion helps me run softer and strengthens my legs more so than bulkier shoes. Or is the only that matters the drop in the shoe?
I'm 5'10" and about 150lbs doing about 45mpw at the moment.
