Have a marathon coming up Oct. 30. Not new to the distance, but shooting to go sub-3:00 for the first time. Picked up a pair of Adizero Adios shoes today, took them for an 8mi spin. Definitely can feel a difference impact-wise, but thinking I may try them out for the big race. Too late to switch to flats, or will I be OK if I put a good 60 miles in on them over my taper to get accustomed?
Long time runner, but relatively low mileage this cycle. Average of 50mi/week, but lots of long runs (12-15 runs at 15+miles, longest run was 26+).
