Mary Akor, suspended in 2013 due to the use of Clenbuterol, won $2000 at the Long Beach Marathon this weekend. Her doping ban expired May 2015. What are the odds the races and runners she stole money from back in 2013 get a piece of that $2000?

Every race ought to have a rule making anyone who served a doping suspension ineligible for prize money. Let convicted dopers run if they want, but don't let them collect money.
The dopers have usually already made plenty of dirty money that they never pay back anyway, so it's only fair.

She was not convicted of stealing from anyone, but you're trying to steal from her.
What else is new? this is no different than the Friggin drug cheats of of Hebron, ky now (so called) Morristown, NJ
about as dirty as a southern Hooker...
The odds are high that after serving that suspension she would not want to risk again especially for as little as $2K.
... yet another left field ostentatious wondering mind

Ugh, no. Once a cheat, always a cheat. It's ingrained in the person- no moral conscious. She's biding her time until she becomes a Master's runner and can hit it hard where the Master's money is with little to no likelihood of drug testing.
She was targeted for testing in Mexico when she was busted. She went for YRS cheating in the US, and not just by way of drugs. Ask those who have competed against her what they've seen and experienced. In-competition drug testing is rare enough, but even the races where there is drug testing (Grandma's) it's known in advance so an athlete could flush it from their system. At least with a race like Grandma's where you sign a waiver she will never be invited back, at least not have her expenses paid to come back.

Except that time she was doping, stealing money from possibly clean runners.
Actually, each and every USADA sanction has the same language where it states "shall forfeit all results, points, and prizes between xxx date and xxx date." SO, the question is, did she "forfeit," i.e., return those prizes (i.e., prize money) between the dates she was sanctioned? If she didn't, then she has yet to fulfill the requirements of her sanction and thus shouldn't even be racing. Either way, Run Long Beach needs to step up their game and enact a policy whereby no former dopers can win money.

That whore has been racing down in Mexico the last few months as well. She deserves to go down with a lifetime ban plus more.
I want to run just like her and win as many races as possible!
Mary Akor is the very best runner that I know, in all of the whole wide world!
Shame on you !!!
You are the the OP - same person.
She paid a penalty. If you believe in the laws of this country than that is it.
Otherwise, you are just a sore loser trying to bump up the thread so that you can cause her damage.
People make errors. It is not up to you to say she is a career criminal. There are laws that protect her against frauds like you.

Of course she never paid back a dime. She even continued to race for prize money during the 9 months after she was caught doping (Dec.), appealed it (Dec.-May), lost her appeal and was served her ban (May), and then continued to race for prize money all the way until August. No moral bone in her. Do you really think every doper paid back their prize money according to this policy? Hardly. It usually takes legal means, which will cost a race more money. Unless someone wants to actually pursue it with a veagence or enact real policies, doper will steal and continue to steal if they choose to race again.

Mary Akor is awesome.
The doping hypocrisy is ruining athletics.
that's pathetic if she was racing during her ban. apologies, couldn't load the usada site earlier, the exact wording is: "disqualified from all competitive results obtained on and subsequent to xxx date, the date his/her positive sample was collected, including forfeiture of any medals, points, and prizes."The was it is written, to my understanding, is that *without* the forfeiture/return of "prizes" (i.e. money), then the athlete never returns to "good standing" and should stay under sanction until the ENTIRE terms of the sanction are fulfilled. Pretty sad that there's been hundreds (thousands?) of dopers and I've only heard of two paying any money back. ridiculous.

She has to be moving up on most sub 2:50's
Also when they update this Kawauchi should be moving up on most sub 2:20's
Akor has at least 70 sub 2:50's though 3 may be annulled.
Kawauchi has at least 58 sub 2:20's
There oughta be a rule wrote:

I would just eliminate prize money entirely from the sport. This would remove much of the incentive to dope.
