I run 800-3200m, I might try steeplechase
the Mambas have got to be one of the most versatile spikes out there. made for the steeple. used to have the same plate as the milers so they were good for really anything 800-5k. got to be one of the best all rounders out there.
If you'd like to walk without a limp, DO NOT use the Mamba for anything > 3k. Far too aggressive with minimal padding.

The NB 5000, for 1500m-3k, but early models were ripping.
Saucony ld is on par with the NB 5000.
It recently got the Adidas Avanti 2, wow, a little heavy and stiff but they are the best of recent. Cadence 2 for training.
Puma evo speed harambee is El G's old Nike Eldoret, and the tfx distance 5 is the Mutumbo but cheaper without the stupid flywire strings.
