1) I’m wondering if I have a realistic shot of breaking 3:00 in the marathon by February 2017. In the last 2 months I’ve run a HM in 1:26, a 10 mile race in 1:03, and a 1 mile race in 4:59. I’m currently running 7 days/week, around 50-55mpw- tempo run on Tues, intervals on Thurs, long run on Saturday.
2) If you do think I have a realistic chance of breaking 3:00, what do you suggest as the best approach from now until the marathon on 2/26? My goal race for the fall is a HM on 11/19, so I’m trying to factor in peaking/recovering from that race.
