Was listening to HMMR podcast this morning and had a guest who is an MLB pitching coach who bases a lot of his training on track and field.

The MLB coach says that he thinks he could take the top 10-20 javelin throwers in the US and within a year get them throwing 90+ mph and a pro contract.
Says he coached an ex shot-putter from U Wash who hadn't played baseball since freshman year in high school to a 92 mph fastball
Do you buy the premise that javelin throwers would be good baseball pitchers and how much more money would they make playing minor league ball?
