Don't ask for a picture! Looking for a fresh start. What city has running clubs for post collegiate runners and single guys in my age range? And I'm not a big fan of the destination huge cities! I can work probably anywhere fortunately.

Move to the west coast. Take your pick of cities. If you can afford it, can work wherever, and like running you'd be crazy to live anywhere else.
there's a ton of running clubs in NYC but it's not easy to be female and single here. the "eligibility" pools are wildly skewed.
China. Lots of single guys there
You can't run away from your problems.
The west coast if you like more of the rugged trail look. The east if you like more of the weekend warrior to burn off work stress look.
Ethiopia or Kenya.
San Diego. You have running groups from "hoping to finish my first 5k" to "Olympic qualifier" to choose from.
Portland or Austin
Were gonna need some pics to answer this.
New England easily.... Boston area, Providence even Connecticut have a ton of clubs and a race schedule that can't be beat anywhere in the world. Get all the benefits a single woman can want in a big city without having to be in the city.

What "Olympic qualifier" club is there in San Diego?

Bend, OR.
Minneapolis/St Paul. Tons of young, single, active men. Lots of running clubs, even an elite one, Team USA MN. Get the amenities of a city but lots of nature, too. St. Paul is quieter/smaller if you prefer that.
People plugging their own towns...silly.
I have lived in Boston, NYC, Midwest, Colorado, and California.
California (LA or SF for me) is far better than the other options. The only reason to waste your one life elsewhere is limited income.

She said she didn't want the big go-to cities.

My ex moved to San Diego when she was 28. Met a guy a couple months after she dumped me and they're still together. Seems to have worked out for her.

Someplace warm and inviting year round where you can sip chilled wine in a hot tub post run. Ummm, like my place.
