Yes.
Every pro season is too long. But that's how money is made.
Except XC & Track. All they do is practice and compete once or twice.
I'd like a middle ground but if I had to choose would take the former.

NFL regular season is ideal IMO. The pre season should be 2 or 3 games.
NBA and NHL seasons shouldn't be more than 60 games.
MLB season shouldn't be more than 100.
But like you said, there's too much money to be made.

Wet means either something has water on it or in it.
CASE 1: If water is wet, then there is water on the water. But then there is also water on the water on the water! And so forth. For this to be true there has to be in infinite amount of water in a finite space and that is impossible.
CASE 2: If water is wet, then there is water in the water. But then there is water in the water in the water! And so forth down to the atomic scale, eventually there must be water in a space smaller than a water molecule and that is impossible.
