Crazy time for a super nice kid!
out in 4:55ish 1st mile (lots of uphill in that mile)
10:08ish for 2 miles (still had a 1/2 mile of climbing before coming back down to the 2 mile point)
Looked strong and unpressed the entire way. When he saw the clock you can see he really shifted to make sure he got the record.
Then right away went to cheer on his teammates - so this was in no way an all out effort.
