I think we've all had races where we weren't feeling the best the day before a race. I've got two that have worked for me pretty well.
1. Contrast baths - 5/1/4/1/3/1/2/1/1 - Cold/Warm- always end on cold (coupled with fast strides after normal pre race mileage)
2. Did this before Turkey Trot one year after driving back all night from Denver 4 days before - felt like shit the 3 days leading up to Wednesday.
Warmup + Drills
8x200 @ goal 8 mile pace (Dallas)
4x50 Fast
Does anyone have anything that they rely on to get their legs primed for race day?
