I honestly have never seen anybody wear their shoes in a race.

It looks like someone ran the 2016 trials in them, so they've probably gone sub 2:19.

Looks like it was Nick Arcianaga at 2:16:25. I wonder if that record will ever get broken.
isn't Jordan Chimpingama running for them? pretty sure he's run closer to 2:12ish, though I could be mistaken. Zambian or Namibian guy I think, lives in flagstaff last I recall.
This weekend at Berlin, Nick Arciniaga, will break whatever the previous record was and set a new fastest marathon time in an Under Armour shoe...
Fast course, great runner, and decent shoe
What's the fastest in a Skechers? Meb at the Trials? I'll take a shot at this. I am not sure about Mizuno (I swear some "unknown Kenyans" have run faster, but can't confirm and Hoka, just not sure) -
adidas, 2:02:57 (Dennis Kimetto)
Nike, 2:03:05 (Eliud Kipchoge)
Asics, 2:04:58 (Ryan Hall)
Fila, 2:05:48 (Paul Tergat)
Mizuno, 2:07:56 (Gezahenga Abera)
Saucony, 2:08:59 (Rod Dixon)
Brooks, 2:09:00 (Greg Meyer)
Skechers, 2:09:08 (Meb Keflezighi)
Under Armour, 2:14:31 (Nick Arciniaga)
Hoka One One, 2:19:12 (Sage Canaday)
Puma, ??
Interesting game.
I think Matt Llano on NAZ Elite has the best Hoka time. He's done 2:12. Not sure if he was on that team then. But he did 2:15 at the trials, and that was definitely with Hoka.
None, 2:15:16 (Abebe Bikila)
Proving that no shoes are faster than Hokas.

Wrong. Tyler Andrews 2.16,59
Will you two idiots read what I just wrote?
Matt Llano, in Hokas at the trials, 2:15. His PR is 2:12, but I don't know what shoes those were in.
New Balance -- Dick Beardsley -- 2:08:53

Didn't Khalid Kannouchi run in New Balances? That would be a 2:05?

Llano ran his 2:12 in Hokas.

Actually, Shivnath Singh ran 2:12:00 barefoot.

"Honestly"?? Other than barefoot runners (and I haven't seen too many of them lately) ALL runners wear their shoes in a race!

Didn't he also run Boston in 2014 in 2:11? I think he was sponsored by them at that time.
Very nice!
RIP: D3 All-American Frank Csorba - who ran 13:56 in March - dead
