If I wanted to get admissions help from an Ivy league what times would I need to hit? I'm currently a junior with decent, but not stellar, academics. GPA of 4.2 weighted/3.5 unweighted at a U.S. News gold medal public high school. That puts me about at the top 15% of my class. I just took a practice ACT through our school and got a 31 (all juniors take it but you can't submit it so I'll have to take it again). I didn't study so I think I could go up a point or two with some test prep. My sophomore times were 2:01 800 and 4:29 1600. So, at this point I know I'm not good enough for any admissions help. With my average academic credentials for an Ivy, what times would I need to hit this year for an academic push from a coach?
Also, what about a school like Virginia or North Carolina?
