So today I had my key speed workout for the week. It was:
1 x mile
2 x 1k
2 x 800m
2 400m
8 miles of running for the day in total
I was feeling fine and I did the 1st mile in 5:25 but after I stopped my lower back just clenched up and I couldn't run any more for the day. I have an important race later this week and I feel like I just screwed up my rhythm. Am I just over exaggerating?
